Welcome to Ocean Grown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a private academy exclusively dedicated to the teachings of Rey Diogo under the Carlson Gracie Team.
Membership is exclusive and by appointment only.
We do not accept just anybody into our gym to train.
You have to contact us and interview before you are invited to come train.

Marshall was born and raised in Santa Monica, California, where he developed a passion for sports and martial arts. He achieved the rank of black belt under Ricardo “Rey” Diogo, a distinguished figure associated with the renowned Carlson Gracie team.
Marshall's dedication is evident as he earned every belt, from white to black, under Rey's mentorship, and continues to train with him during his free time.

Perry Hauck, is a 4th degree Black Belt In Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Prof. Ricardo "Rey" Diogo of the Carlson Gracie Team. Perry has been teaching BJJ, at a variety of schools, since 2009. He also holds a Black Belt in Sabaku Jutsu and a Senior Instructor Certificate from Impact Personal Safety, where he taught self-defense for many years. His classes are friendly, but focused and never lose sight of the fact that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fighting art. Perry takes a down-to-earth approach to teaching jiu jitsu, concentrating on strategies that will serve students in the widest variety of possible situations they may encounter.
Perry Hauck holds a 4th-degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, awarded by Prof. Ricardo "Rey" Diogo of the Carlson Gracie Team, and has been an instructor since 2009, teaching at several different schools.
In addition to his BJJ expertise, Perry is also a Black Belt in Sabaku Jutsu and holds a Senior Instructor Certificate from Impact Personal Safety, where he has taught self-defense for an extended period.
Perry's teaching style focuses on practicality, emphasizing strategies that can be applied effectively in a wide range of real-life situations, providing a down-to-earth approach to Jiu-Jitsu instruction.

Wilton Rezende, originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, was raised in Santa Monica, California.
His upbringing was marked by a passion for sports and martial arts, culminating in his achievement of a black belt under the guidance of Ricardo "Rey" Diogo, a prominent figure associated with the renowned Carlson Gracie team.
Wilton's dedication to his martial arts journey is evident as he continues to train with Rey even after attaining his black belt, making the most of his off-hours.
